Our Mission and History

At Eastfield, education is a partnership between the school, parents, and students, united by a shared vision for the future.

A Community of Purpose

Eastfield Imperial School is a family-owned school that was established in 2016 out of a simple but powerful desire. Our goal was to create a school we could confidently entrust with our own children. We believe every child is uniquely gifted by God and capable of growth, excellence, and meaningful contribution to society. Raising our family in Jalingo, Taraba State, we envisioned a learning environment that valued dignity, excellence, safety, and purpose. At the time, many school settings fell short. Most of the surrounding school's facilities were inadequate, learning spaces uninspiring, and education often felt like an obligation rather than a meaningful investment in children and society.

What began as a school for our own children has grown into a vibrant community of families who share a common commitment — raising children who are prepared to lead, serve, and courageously live out God’s purpose. Eastfield was intentionally designed to be different. From our thoughtfully planned campus and clean, child-friendly facilities to our emphasis on security, quality learning resources, and a culture of care, every detail reflects our belief that children deserve the very best environment in which to learn and grow.

Eastfield was born from the conviction that education should transform lives, not merely issue certificates.

A Thoughtfully Designed Learning Environment

Our school campus was deliberately designed as a hexagon, symbolising strength, balance, and intentional growth — a clear departure from the conventional school designs around us.

Quality Education Without Compromise

We did not want a school reserved for the wealthy, but one that hard-working parents could afford — without allowing lower fees to result in lower quality. Every decision, from curriculum materials to staffing, is guided by this principle.

Our textbooks are carefully selected, and our uniforms are intentionally designed using quality fabrics and skilled tailoring. While some parents initially raised concerns about cost, we remained committed to our standards, choosing long-term value over short-term convenience. Today, these choices reflect Eastfield’s identity, culture, and pride.

Our vision
